RESERVE MY SPOTSomewhere between taking care of everyone and keeping everything running, you stopped being one of the people you take care of.
You love your life. You love the people in it. And somewhere underneath all of that love and responsibility, there's a version of you that's been waiting patiently for her turn.
You're not burned out exactly. You're just tired in a way that's hard to explain to people who haven't lived it.
If any part of you just exhaled — keep reading.
Is this you?
This retreat was created for you if:
-
You feel constantly on alert, anticipating everyone's needs, even when nothing is actually wrong
-
You feel guilt when you rest — like you haven't earned it yet
-
You quietly grieve the woman you were before everything got so busy — and wonder if she's still in there
-
You say yes before you've finished thinking — and only realize you're overwhelmed when your body reacts
-
You love your partner and your kids, but you're running out of the kind of presence they actually need from you
-
You're not looking to blow up your life — you just want to stop white-knuckling your way through it
-
You know there's a truer version of you underneath all of this — and you're ready to find her
The Other Side
You don't change your life at this retreat. You change how you're living it.
Most weekends away leave you rested. This one leaves you different — in ways you'll still feel on a Tuesday three weeks later. When the moment comes and you find just enough space to choose your response instead of react from it, that's not luck. That's the work landing.
Here's what becomes possible:
You catch yourself before you spill over. You're in the car, kids are loud, someone is crying or sassing back, you feel it rising — and you stop before you snap. Not because you're managing yourself harder. Because something inside you loosened that weekend — giving you just enough space to find yourself again.
You say no without the spiral. An obligation you didn't want. You decline it. And you don't spend two days recovering from the guilt — because you finally listened to yourself and trusted what you heard.
You stop performing okayness. The people around you can handle the truth of you — including your partner. And with your partner, more warmth. More curiosity instead of resentment. More presence — because when you're giving to yourself first, you actually have more to offer.
What the weekend holds
The retreat moves through the four elements — each day building intentionally on the last.
Friday evening — Earth
You arrive. You exhale. Someone else is handling dinner. The evening is about grounding, landing, and remembering what it feels like to stop.
Saturday — Water into Fire
Yoga, somatic practice, and guided inner work that meets you exactly where you are — no performance, no being put on the spot. Things you've been carrying start to move. Saturday night is Fire — release, a co-created dance playlist, and a ritual to burn what's no longer yours to carry. You'll sleep differently that night.
Sunday — Air
Clarity. Practical tools, journal prompts, and a go-forward plan designed for your real life — not an ideal version of it. You leave after a long, unhurried lunch.
Home in time for the barbecue, the pool party, and yes — even the laundry and chaos that greets you when you get home. Only this time, actually present for it.
Where You'll Be
Westerbeke Ranch isn't available for individual bookings. The only way to experience it is through a curated event like this one.
Hotels in Sonoma wine country run $200–$400+ per night before a single meal. The Labor of Love Retreat includes two nights at this exclusive property, plus meals prepared by an on-site chef with ingredients largely sourced from the Westerbeke gardens.
If you've been before, you know — the food alone is worth the trip.

Your Retreat Host
A facilitator for women ready to reclaim themselves.
I am a mother, partner, facilitator, and guide shaped by a life that has required resilience, adaptation, and deep listening to what truly matters.
My journey includes living on a remote island in Alaska, where I experienced a traumatic preterm birth far from family and support systems. That season stripped life down to essentials. It required me to bury my own needs to protect a fragile life, and it took more than a decade for me to recognize and reclaim what had been buried to rebuild from the inside out.
But the deeper truth is this: becoming a mother profoundly changes us. It decenters our identity. We become responsible for life, and what could be more important than that? But the consequence is often our own identity, lost or disregarded as we prioritize the beings in our care. Rediscovering who we are again takes intention. It takes choice.
Over time, I’ve come to understand that my life is only as peaceful as the attention and care I give to myself. The love, patience, and steadiness I offer others are directly connected to what I’m willing to pour back into my own body, spirit, and inner world. It sounds simple, even cliché — but it is incredibly easy to disappear inside the demands of work, partnership, parenting, and the daily logistics that keep life running.
This retreat was born from that realization. It is a deliberate pause. A break from constant output. A space for women to step away from what they carry and intentionally rebuild a relationship with themselves — because saying “I matter” is not selfish. It is foundational.
